Playa del Carmen

Just before closing on our new house, we left the boys in good hands with Mimi and Pa Pa and headed off to Mexico for my friend Erin's wedding. The wedding was in Playa del Carmen which is just south of Cancun at an all inlusive resort. This was the first time Tim and I have been on a vacation by ourselves. It was absolutely wonderful and well earned after all Tim's hard work in his LPN program and all our hard work moving. Erin and Kain are two great people and had a pretty big group there for the wedding. About half the group were friends from college so it was really great to be able to catch up and hang out with old friends. It was a week full of re-living the good old days and trying to drink the resort dry!

Our beautiful hotel. The little hut on the left is the pool bar where we spent A LOT of time!
The Mann's and The Blunck's-a.k.a. The Quads and The Buchs (Old college nickname/maiden names.)

On the beach outside of our hotel on our last day. We were so sad to leave.

More of our hotel and our stretch of beach. Another place we spent A LOT of time laying on the beach drinking lots of cervezas!

All purdy for the wedding.
