The last of Spring Break

Man oh man, this pregnancy is kicking my butt! I cannot make it through a day without a nap and these two little boys are wearing me out! I can only imagine life with a 3rd! There will never be a dull moment, that's for sure! So anyhow, here is the conclusion (finally!) of our Spring Break. Thursday Mimi was able to come with us to the Children's Museum and on Friday, Pa Pa was able to come to the zoo with us. Both places were very crowded because it was Spring Break so it made things a little less enjoyable. But, all in all the boys had fun-it was something different from the normal weekly routine.

Bubble tables! Grayson hadn't quite figured out how to blow yet-he kept sucking in.

They had a separate section just for 3 years and under with lots of hands on things for tiny tots to experiment with. Grayson loved it!

Car/train table he could have played at all afternoon.

An airplane the kids could get in and out of with seats in the main cabin, and a cockpit they could fly the plane in. This is where Brady wanted to play the whole day.

Brady is back there milking the cow.

Pint sized grocery store. There were cash registers and things too for the kids to check out at and buy their groceries.

They had a science experiment/presentation called Elephant toothpaste. She mixed some chemicals together and when they reacted together they made a bunch of this foamy stuff.

She asked the kids if they were ready and Brady clapped and giggled. He was so excited! Too cute!
And here is the final product. Elephant toothpaste.

San Antonio Zoo. Not the greatest zoo (especially just after having lived in DC and visiting the National Zoo), but we were able to see a few animals up close and in person. It was very hot and crowded and we only had a few hours to play. By the time we got there it was after noon and the bears and lions and tigers were all inside keeping cool and napping. We were bummed.

Crocodile

All Brady said he wanted to do was see the elephants. We stood and watched them do nothing for a good 15 minuets.

Rhinoceros

Zebra and ostrich

And of course, we had to finish the day with ICE CREAM!!!!
