Snow in San Antone!

So, it did indeed snow here in San Antonio! My dad had today already scheduled off, so my mom picked Brady up from school yesterday and he spent the night with Mimi and Pa Pa. They were so excited to get up in the morning and go for a walk in the woods in the snow. Tim got up this morning to go to work, looked outside and noticed that our street was a sheet of ice! So, he watched the news covering the jack-knifed truck on the high way, the now closed highways and spoke to a few co-workers who were stuck on the highway not moving at all. Needless to stay he did not go to work.
Because this doesn't happen very often in San Antonio they didn't have the appropriate equipment or knowledge to salt the streets last night and with temperatures below freezing the whole city was a sheet of ice! They shut down all the highways and most of the businesses were closed. The whole city was shut down due to a little ice and 0.4 inches of snow! Too funny!
