Long time, no blog!

Holy cow! It has been almost 2 months since I have blogged! You all have probably given up on me and figured I wouldn't be back. I don't blame you-I have snow flakes on my blog still for cryin out loud! Well, don't count me out yet. I'm still here and will get back to my bloggin. We have been sooo busy the past 2 months and now life is slowing down.....sorta.

I'll give you a little re-cap of what we've been up to, then hopefully I'll post some pictures to go along with all of our fun stuff. First and foremost, we bought a house! Yay! We are officially homeowners! But before that, we packed up our apartment and thanks to Tim and his creative packing (or stuffing rather), we fit all 28 feet of our stuff into a 26 foot penske truck. The way the military works is that they pay for your move. Your first option is to have the company chosen by the military come in and pack your house, load it on a truck and deliver it to your destination. This is what we had done with our previous 2 moves. Your other option is to do a DITY move which is a "Do it yourself" move. You can typically make a pretty good profit doing it this way. You know it's going to be ALOT of work, but hey, it's worth it to make a few extra bucks. The last 2 times we moved I have been pretty pregnant, so I said ok, lets do it since I was not prego this time. It's also been known to be one of those experiences that you'll come out of saying one of two things-this is the way to go, or I'll never do that again. And well, you guessed it, we came out saying the latter....we will never do that again! Plain and simple, we just have too much stuff! But after a lot of work, we got everything packed up and moved down to Texas just after Tim's graduation ceremony. It was really great to see Tim graduate! He finished 3rd in his class and made the commandant's list. At the graduation they had the top 5 students come up and receive their certificated first and did a little hoopla about it. I was one proud army wife! So after 3,000 miles and 3 days of driving, Tim and his co-pilot Brady drove the 26 foot penske truck pulling the saturn followed by me in the truck with Grayson and the dog and the cat, finally made it to Texas! Our house wasn't quite complete and weren't set to close for a few more weeks, so we unloaded the contents of the truck into my parents garage so we could return the truck. And 3 days later we left the boys with my parents and flew to Mexico for the wedding of a good friend of mine from college. We were there for 6 days and had a blast! The wedding was at an all inclusive resort in Playa del Carmen, just south of Cancun. It was a beautiful area, the bride was radiant and it was great to catch up with old friends from college. Tim and I had a great time on our first "real" vacation.
So, there ya go, that catches you up a little bit on the life of the Mann's. I'll post some pictures and some more of our shenanigans soon.
